Kelle was my personal trainer for over 2 1/2 years. I was a soccer player for over 20 years and loved to workout, I mostly used weight and cardio machines. I started trail running in my 30’s and worked up to running ultramarathons. A torn meniscus led to two arthroscopic surgeries and lingering pain in my right knee.
When I started training with Kelle I thought I knew how to strength train but soon learned I had a long way to go! She taught me how to make my lower body stronger to protect my knees, to strengthen more than just my quads. I started seeing results quickly, not only in muscle definition but in how much I was able to lift. I learned so much about stability and the importance of working my core.
Because of my time working with Kelle I now have the confidence to use the tools she taught me to lift in the weight room even if I’m the only female present. I have definition in my arms I didn’t know I could achieve. I also now know the importance of cross training and feel stronger and more fit than I did in my 20’s!

When I found out about Kelle’s Transformation Program, I had watched my weight go up about a pound or so a year for the last several years. It seemed like my weight was increasing just as my age was! I had the same struggles as most menopausal women, stubborn weight especially around my middle; front and back.
I constantly watched my weight I would lose a pound or two and gain it back over and over again, and this had been going on for years. At 62 I felt like if I didn’t do something soon, I was going to continue this upward climb on the scale. I think the most frustrating thing about it was that there were people that I followed that had lost 20, 30, or 40 pounds and I could not seem to lose these 7 or 8 pounds. I felt helpless to get control of it. I had always been athletic, but my middle just continued to grow. The funny thing is that those 7 or 8 pounds bothered me as much as those other women’s 30 or 40 pounds. And when you are barely 5’2” there is not a lot of space to hide that extra weight.
I decided to commit the 12 weeks to this program, mainly because I knew that Kelle was someone that would push me, encourage me, and firmly hold me accountable. Her focus was on nutrition and exercise. I had not really done that much weight training, but the more I did the more I loved it. We are coming to the end of our 12 weeks, and I have lost those stubborn 8 pounds, but more importantly I have learned how to make the lifestyle changes that I will need to hold onto for the rest of my life. 12 weeks ago, I had almost given up on getting my weight under control and now I have the confidence to know that I can do this, and I can maintain this. I understand how to manage my macros so that I can have a cookie or a treat and still stay on track.
Having Kelle to help me learn the macro system and to simplify it with the use of the app so that it takes a few seconds each time I eat to log my food was key to my success. I always thought that would be a real pain and couldn’t imagine myself ever doing it. But I can honestly say after 12 weeks it is something I will continue to do.
The workouts are so varied that I have never gotten bored with them, Kelle puts together workout that work for me - 62-year-old me, with a bothersome knee and an achy neck! I think it is also important to note that I did this all remotely. I loved our one-on-one workout sessions, and the group sessions.
I plan to continue training with Kelle remotely and in person and I know not only do I have further I can go, but I also now have the confidence to know that I can get there, and if I slip up, I have a tried and true plan to get back on track quickly.
I would encourage anyone that wants to take a step towards better health and a stronger body to partner with Kelle.
